Cold damage is one of the 5 damage types and is one of the 3 types which count as elemental damage.
Hitting an enemy with cold damage can inflict chill. Critical strikes with cold damage can inflict freeze.
Cold damage is reduced by cold resistance. Skills which deal or affect cold damage have the Cold Keyword. Some effects convert other types of damage into cold.
