This map is based on the first part of The Caverns in Act 2. It's a linear series of caverns connected by narrow bridges.

An L-shaped cavern at the end of the map. Entrance seals when the boss is engaged.

It That Fell, based on Q'uru from The Caverns. Repeats the following sequence of maneuvers:

  • Summons a small pack of Plummeting Ursas.
  • Uses EarthquakeEarthquakeAttack, AoE, Duration, Melee
    Radius: 18 / 28
    Mana Cost: 10
    Cast Time: 1.00 sec
    Attack Speed: 75% of Base
    Effectiveness of Added Damage: (85%-120%)
    Requires Level 28Smashes the ground with an Axe, Mace, Sceptre or Staff, dealing damage in an area and cracking the earth. The crack will erupt in a powerful aftershock after a short duration. Earthquakes created before the first one has erupted will not generate their own aftershocks.Per 1% Quality:
    1% increased Damage
    Deals (85-120)% of Base Damage
    Base duration is 1 seconds
    Aftershock deals 70% more Damage with Hits and Ailments
    Aftershock deals (30-169) to (46-254) Added Attack Physical Damage

, in case of being overrun by Plummeting Ursas. It That Fell's melee damage is comparable to one of those Ursas, but it has higher attack speed, especially when enraged. The safest way to deal with this boss is to clear summoned Ursas as soon as possible, wait out the enrage and use the limited time before it uses the Neo maneuver again to deal damage. The pack of Ursas is usually 4-6 strong and there's a danger of being surprised later on by those that didn't drop initially. A good way to avoid that is to walk around the edges of the Earthquake the boss leaves behind when jumping. There seems to be no limit to how many Ursas can be summoned.

  • The Atlas of Worlds has been shuffled. Most maps have changed tier and location within the Atlas.
  • Many map bosses have also shifted around. Some have been retired and replaced!

  • Added 32 new maps including two new Unique maps.
  • The entire Atlas has been reworked. Many map names have changed, as have their balance, tier and position on the Atlas. Many maps have also had their boss fights swapped or completely reworked.
  • The rules used to generate monsters in endgame maps have been significantly reworked and rebalanced around the rate at which we expect players to reliably clear out the map. In general, narrow, linear maps will contain fewer total monsters than maps with complex layouts. We will be closely monitoring and adjusting the balance of this change and expect to make further changes and improvements over time.
