Sirus, Awakener of Worlds is the main antagonist of the Conquerors of the Atlas expansion. He acts as the final boss of the Atlas of Worlds, and the leader of the other conquerors: Al-Hezmin, the Hunter, Baran, the Crusader, Drox, the Warlord and Veritania, the Redeemer.

From Zana:

No...Sirus is still alive? Gods, I thought he was dead! He took the brunt of the energy released when we sealed the Elder. How did he survive?

Sirus was the leader of the group of Exiles I recruited. Brilliant and determined, and a force to be reckoned with even before we travelled the Atlas together. We... grew close. I was distraught when he vanished with the Elder. At first i thought the other Exiles were looking for him as I was, but perhaps they knew he was still alive...

I have a terrible feeling that Sirus may be tied to the madness of the others. Or perhaps he is just as mad as they are. We need to find and stop him -- if the others are looking for a way out, I'm certain he is too.

Abilities

Sirus's arena contains multiple huge Deatomization Storms, which deal massive physical, chaos, lightning and fire damage over time to anything touching them. Around Sirus is a large animated ring which indicates a safety zone which pushes out the storms.

  • Default Attack - Fires a ranged beam forward. It has a delay and can be sidestepped.
  • Corridor Blast - Creates impassable walls in a corridor to the player from his location and then fires slow moving projectiles at the player, one at a time. Sirus can be interrupted by moving through him.
  • Meteor Maze - Creates a ring maze that traps the player in its center. The player must escape from each layer before Sirus collapses the maze, damaging the player. Each phase increments the number of walls up to three, and the time given for the player to exit the maze. Each layer has an exit placed at a random location in the circle indicated by animated flares.
    • most damaging single ability in the encounter
    • summons all players in the zone to the centre of the maze
  • Hyper Beam Barrage - Teleports and charges up, then fires multiple larger beams in front of him, dealing random elemental damage. In later phases, the attack has some sideways tracking.
  • Multiclone Beam (final phase) - Sirus will rapidly dash to a location nearby and summon 12 clones in a large circle, hiding among them as an illusion. The location Sirus initially moves to will remain as the location he attacks with Multiclone beam from. He will then charge up an extremely damaging beam attack, and fire it midway through the voice line he uses during it, as seen below. The capitalised text is when he fires.
    • "Feel the thrill of THE VOID!"
    • "You will long for NONEXISTANCE."
    • "Meaning is-" Second-long pause "-AN ILLUSION."
  • Spinning Negation Beams (final phase) - Splits into 4 illusions, blasting an area with lasers to spawn a core. The real Sirus will flash blue briefly before firing the beams. The core fires rotating beams that apply Corruption of the Awakener, which stacks, slowing you and increasing damage taken. When the core expires, it leaves behind a small area of degeneration that deals damage over time, negates life leech, reduces maximum resistances, and applies a powerful Shock effect.
  • Deatomization Storm - Sirus returns to his throne, the safety zone is removed, and a Deatomization Storm spawns on the ground at his location. This takes a number of seconds during which time, a pulsating knockback encourages the player to move away from the new Deatomization Storm. This throne phase will end if the player comes into close proximity with Sirus after the Deatomization Storm is created. He will use this attack when he reaches 75%, 50%, or 25% health; or if the player is outside of the safety zone for too long.
    • the player's camera will zoom out to grant a greater field of view when the storm is about to be placed

Sirus will also have his projection attack the player occasionally (except in his last phase).

  • Converging Beams - Fires two beams towards its sides, which converge towards the center. It creates a huge explosion at the center if you're not in the safety zone.
  • Meteor Strike - Launches four meteors that land and deal AoE damage after a delay. The ground will flare up before they land. Launches many more meteors if you are not in the safety zone.
  • Meteor Geysers - Creates multiple geysers that deal damage over time. Creates many more geysers if you are not in the safety zone.

3.9.2c
3.9.2

Atlas improvements

  • Added new lore objects to the Conqueror of the Atlas boss areas.

The Awakener fight

  • The Awakener has been decreased to level 81 from 84 at Awakening levels 1 to 5, increasing by one for each additional Awakening level. He is still level 84 at Awakening level 8, and this only affects the item levels of his drops.
  • Specifically reduced the damage on a majority of The Awakener's skills at everything below Awakening level 8.
  • Prevented the storms in The Awakener fight from being able to occupy the space near the arena entrance, so you no longer can enter and be inside a storm.
  • Changed the behaviour of the storms so they no longer pursue the player or their minions. Instead they more organically maneuvere the arena in a way that should cause more openings to travel around freely while still applying some limitation.
  • Adjusted The Awakener Storm and Desolation skills to do less damage to minions.
  • Increased the damage of The Awakener's Multiclone Beam skill.
  • Fixed a bug which could result in the Awakener fight not progressing if he traveled too far in a single Throne Phase.
  • Fixed issues when playing in a party where the effects from the Meteor skills could be invisible.
  • Improved the visibility of the The Awakener's Desolation ground effects.
3.9.1
  • The final Conqueror of the Atlas' Meteor Maze ability now has more time to escape the Maze before damage is dealt.
  • The final Conqueror of the Atlas no longer has blocking during their Meteor Maze ability, so they cannot prevent you from escaping the Maze.
  • The final Conqueror of the Atlas now teleports to the centre of the Meteor Maze skill upon starting it.
  • The final Conqueror of the Atlas' Meteor Maze ability now correctly deals damage if you're outside of the first Maze Wall.
  • Did further improvements to prevent players from getting stuck inside Walls for two of the final Conqueror of the Atlas' abilities.
  • The final Conqueror of the Atlas' quad beam ability now ends when the boss is defeated.
  • Added an effect to more clearly mark out the edge of the temporary Arenas created by the final Conqueror of the Atlas.
  • Fixed a bug where the height of the projectiles from the final Conqueror of the Atlas' Corridor Blast Skill were at the wrong height (a visual bug).
  • Fixed a bug where the final Conqueror of the Atlas could be invisible under rare conditions when leaving and returning to the area.
  • Fixed a bug where the final Conqueror of the Atlas wasn't receiving their damage mitigation decaying buff when entering their final phase.
3.9.0e
  • Fixed an instance crash that can occur during The Awakener fight.
3.9.0
  • Introduced to the game.
