Malediction is an Ascendancy passive skill for the Occultist. It raises the additional curse limit by one, increases the effect of your curses, and causes enemies you curse to have Malediction, decreasing their damage and increasing their damage taken.

Mechanics[ | ]

The Malediction debuff on cursed enemies applies the following:

  • 10% reduced Damage Dealt
  • 10% increased Damage Taken

Malediction can only be applyed to monsters with triggered or selfe casted Hexes/Marks. It is not applyed by curse auras (curses who are supported by Blasphemy or items witch grand a curse aura like the Witchfire Brew)

  • Removed When you Kill an Enemy, for each Curse on that Enemy, gain 8% of Non-Chaos Damage as extra Chaos Damage for 4 seconds

  • The small passive leading to the notable no longer grants 15% increased Curse Duration and instead grants 5% increased Effect of your Curses. The notable now grants 15% increased Effect of your Curses, and causes Enemies you curse to have Malediction. Enemies with Malediction deal 10% reduced Damage and take 10% increased Damage. When you kill an Enemy, the notable now also grants 8% of Non-Chaos Damage as extra Chaos Damage for 4 seconds for each Curse on that enemy (up from 4%).
